Measuring 8.2 inches long and boasting highly reputable Japanese steel and an ergonomic hand-shaped Black Pakka Wood handle, this perfectly balanced tool is well suited to cutting most meats, fish, vegetables, and fruits. The Gyuto is a true multi-purpose knife. The R-2 Clad Series Japanese knives feature 3-layer construction blades with outer soft stainless steel to support the R-2 hard steel core (HRC63) and provide strength and ease of maintenance. The knives feature full tang construction, water-resistant black pakkawood handle scales, and stainless steel bolsters for extra durability and improved blade balance.
