I've been using Dexter-Russell for years, and they have always been quality stuff.This is a fancy scallop knife that does the job. I'm not sure if it is necessary for scalloping. I like having it, and I have two of them. I still use a spoon to clean my scallop from time to time, but I find myself using this along with the spoon.The knife gets them open really good, but sometimes the spoon gets ore meat than the knife. What I use depends on the mood, how long the scallops been on ice, and size of scallops. Writing this review has me itching to go scalloping!
