I've used resin/acrylic scales on more than two-hundred knives. And, every once in a while I've purchased material that was way too soft to get a high gloss finish. Sadly this was the case with this material.When sanding it immediately gummed up my sandpaper and would actually start melting. It's acts as if it hasn't cured completely.I hope that these came from one bad batch.
