It's the right size for me, it holds its edge fairly well and it stands up to the test of time as far as heavy duty usage is concerned. I've purchased this particular knife for myself three times as well as for gifts and everyone that's used it has been pleased. If you are looking for a basic chef's knife at a great price, this one is a solid choice. Is it fancy? No. Is it expertly balanced? Also no. But does it get the job done at a great price point and feel good in your hand? Yes.
