Description

Patrick Rollins tested the prototype for two years before ESEE put the knife into production, ensuring the utility of the PR-4's design for camp tasks ranging from cleaning game to processing firewood.

Features

Inspired by the iconic Kephart knife, Patrick Rollins designed the PR4 for ESEE's Camp-Lore line as an all-around outdoor workhorse knife.

Made from 1095 Carbon Steel with a weather-resistant black oxide finish, the spear-point style knife features a sharp 90 degree spine that makes it easy to strike ferro rods.

Featuring James Gibson's sculpted micarta handle scales for surprising comfort and excellent grip in bad weather or while cleaning game.

Includes a dark tan, American-made sheath for easy belt carry with solid retention.

Measuring 8.9 in. overall with 0.125 in. spine and a total blade length of 4.19 in. and a 4 in. cutting edge, the ESEE PR4 is an ideal knife for hunting, camping, and survival use.

Love ESEE products. This knife is no exception. Huge fan of the "Kephart" style knife for bushcraft/survival applications. Love the finish on the blade, really like the styling on the handle. My one problem is the handle is a little thin, maybe causing a hot-spot after extended use. I usually use gloves during long carving sessions, so for me it's not an issue. Would trust my life to this knife & I have no problem recommend-ing it to anyone. Very sharp out-of-the box.
