I don't remember when I bought this knife. not from Amazon. I only recall when I bought it that I was thinking "I don't really need this thing but I could use a pocket knife". It sat around for years not used. Only recently did I find it again and stashed it in my office desk drawer and I've been using it quite a bit to cut string cheese into little pieces for my pup's snack plus I use it sometimes as a steak knife when I'm too lazy to walk to the kitchen to get a real knife. Glad it finally serves a purpose. The reason why I'm writing this review is that I really like the feel of this knife in my hand, it has a nice compact weight, it's easy to open and close, and when it is open it clicks into position without any slack... ie, nice fitting parts and I love the little click that it makes when it snaps into place. I have no idea how this knife compares to any other bc I don't know anything about pocket knives. but I do like this one!
