I don’t have my own BCD so I was worried about being able to actually use this knife with rental gear. But, the way it is designed, you can attach it to any strap if you have a screw driver. So I just use a screw driver from the boat we are on and attach it to the waist strap. Easy! You might even be able to us the tip of the knife to unscrew/screw but I forget and can’t find my knife to verify. ?
