The ceramic blade ships extremely sharp and is harder than any steel in the world, meaning it will never need to be sharpened. The rubber handle provides excellent grip in any conditions. Ceramic blades will chip under torque, this is normal for the type of material. Do not drop your blade on hard surfaces while it's not in the sheath.
