***UPDATE***Knife broke after less than 3 months of gentle use. The bearings slid out upon opening and now does not open smoothly.Its not the sharpest knife right out of the box. I got this and Kershaw at the same time. The Kershaw shaved hair. The Pachmayr, not so much.The opening flipper is not that smooth either. You cant just use your finger to open, you have to give it a hard flick of the wrist. I know I have been spoiled with Kershaw's speed-assist open but if a knife only has a flipper, it should work well. We shall see if it smooths out over time.The knife appears well constructed and the blade is centered. It is a little thicker than I expected but is not too thick to carry.
