This knife is perfectly designed to remove bot fly eggs from a horse’s legs and coat. I was trying to use a variety of other items before I got this: a disposable razor and sandpaper for instance. They showed me how surprisingly well those eggs are attached. You really have to cut them off. Which is what this does. It has all the curves needed to articulate safely in between little tendons, and it just snaps all those little eggs right off. For what it costs, this is a must have in my grooming kit.
