This is my second skeletool. Can't recommend them highly enough.Pliers are great.Knife is very easy to open 1 handed, might need to work it a 20-30 times to loosen up the mechanism. Locks great. Super sharp and serration is really nice.Perfect size and weight to carry around everywhere.There is a lifetime guarantee for these. I sheared off the knife doing stupid things and in 10d I got a brand new one from LEATHERMAN.Buy it for life.I am a big fan of the multi-tool in general, and Leatherman makes some great ones overall.Normally I want something like the Sidekick, which has a saw, pliers and a good knife and a screw driver selection, with a good pocket clip. It's however a bit heavy to carry, especially in summer time when the wife tells me not to wear cargo shorts ;)This is a good compromise. It's a bunch lighter, still has a very good knife, pliers an arguably better driver. It lacks the saw, so it's not a good camping/wilderness item.My only too knits is with the beener. It's a bit too small to be useful. Otherwise great design!but too easily lost. I'm buying a case for this oneAlmost but not quite there. It's hard.ti find a sweet.spit between sturdy and light weight.I don't think uts quite there. It's not bad, but just not as durable as I hoped. I ordered 2 and one of the bit holding compartments and the bit didn't work well together. But kept falling out. Easy return and refund..small, not overloaded and have all the tollset needed for small fixes.This was a replacement for the skeletool that I had to relinquish to the TSA on a recent trip. I love the style, look and has a secure pocket clip. It's also lightweight and great for occasional tasks as the features are basic. If you just need a good knife, flathead and philips head screwdriver pliers/wire cutter for edc, I would definitely recommend it.One hand blade operation. Changeable screwdrivers. Other tools available. Very light!I've had about 8 of them and I love them,,compact and mostly durable, only one problem,,tge blade isn't the bestFirst off, it feels terrible in the hand. Hard corners all over it make for an uncomfortable squeeze, no matter which tool you are using. My thumb slipped while using the pliers and got pinched between the knife and the body of the tool causing a particularly nasty blood blister. The screwdriver bits dig into the palm of the hand when I use the pliers. Overall just unpleasant to hold.Secondly, the quality of the blade left a lot to be desired. The serrations completely rounded over after one cut of some nylon rope. I don't abuse this blade, but it looks like an axe head after it hits the ground. Little chips and gouges along the length.Third, I can't quite figure out what it is, but the pliers just don't seem to grip anything particularly well. Always slipping off of whatever it is, causing that nasty thumb pinch to happen.I do love it's compact size. Fits nicely in the pocket. The bit storage is also a very nice touch. The bottle opener/carabiner is a clever design.Overall I think this is one of Leathermans weaker products. I don't hate it, but am actively searching for a replacement.It's small, light, but has what you want on it!I haven't had it for long but it's served me well so far. I only wish the pliers had a spring, but otherwise it's excellent.Update: I damaged my multi-tool doing some routine work and the Leatherman Tool Group immediately agreed to send me a new one! It was such great customer service.Best EDC knife I’ve had. I’m a farmer and a mechanic. I own a lot of knives. I carry this everyday in my pocket or the Rx version on my belt. I lost one and ordered a replacement the next day. Great product. Just watch which one you order depending what screwdriver tips you want and blade type.i have it either in my pocket or as a keychain because of the two different clips it has. The blade is razor sharp and has held an edge reasonably well. would make a great gift. too.Got this amazing tool for Christmas from my wife and I have used it everyday. I work on film sets and as a musician playing drums and djing. It has all the everyday tools I need in one small edc package! Highly recommend and this medium sized leatherman feels like it’s built to last! So happy ?
