I’ve recently started getting a little more serious about smoking meats on my pellet grill and I needed my own, good set of knives. I bought these thinking they would be a good starter set but they are so well made and work so well that they may be my forever set. I line that the set comes in a canvas bag with a handle. I put the entire set away in a cupboard and like the fact it’s not taking up valuable counter space. Great product I highly recommend.Seems like a great deal for the money. The knife is a pleasure to use - I have used it on veggies and raw chicken so far. It is very sharp and easy to handle. The sharpener and case are also nice to have.My new go to knife!So I have another utility knife that I was using before this one that I love, but it’s just a little bit too big for me. I didn’t know what I wanted, because a paring knife is too small.Then we went to Benihana for my daughter’s birthday and I saw them using these small knives and asked the chef what kind of knife it was. He said it was just a little 5 inch utility knife, but it was perfect for what they do there.So I went on the hunt.I didn’t want to spend another $45 on a single knife, so I wanted a reasonably priced, highly rated knife. After doing some research, I decided on this one.I’m glad I did.It’s lightweight, very sharp and easy to keep sharp with the sharpener that come with it.In the past week(ish) since it arrived, I have used it to cut everything from chicken to tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, onions, mince garlic and cilantro and more.It’s like the little engine that could or the Energizer Bunny, it just keeps going.I also Love that it came with a sharpener and a sheath. Those two things help to keep it sharp and chip/nick free.It’s hand wash only in my house, because dishwashers are super rough on knives.I don’t know how long it will last, but for the price, I am pretty darn happy.There was no dislike about this product, easy to hold, and it cuts, chops easily......love this cleaver.....good purchase.Excellent!Nice looking set of knives, Sharp out of the boxI know sooner or later I might have to sharpen them but after a month of use so far they kept their edge. Easy to hold. The handles are firmly attached to the blades.LikeBought this set to replace an older cheap set of serrated knives that had one missing, from a set of four (4), and staining due to repeated dishwasher cleaning. It was my family’s turn to host Christmas this year and the old set just wasn’t going to make the grade.I specifically wanted a traditional straight blade that I could sharpen myself. I only like serrated blades for cutting bread and tomatoes. Anyway….I seen this set of steak knives because it contained eight (8) knives, was mid-priced, and appeared to have good review rating. Using this information I went ahead and ordered them.There first use was for a traditional turkey Christmas dinner. The blades were very sharp right out of the package. The handles have a slight curvature that makes them ergonomically easy to hold and use. The curve of the handle also makes them esthetically pleasing to the eye.As for use, well they certainly made quick work of the turkey with minimal effort or pressure required. I haven’t had the opportunity to try them with beef or pork, but all indications are saying they will be good.The best indicator will be durability and the ability to maintain a sharp edge with repeated use. Only time will provide that answer and cannot be reflected in this review unfortunately.I do plan to hand wash these knives and keep them away from the dishwasher. Perhaps I will provide a six (6) month update to this review once they have been subjected to repeated use. For now, I’m impressed and like them.Lo compré de auto regalo y me ha salido muy bueno. La funda no la uso en realidad, pero el afilador me ha servido para otros cuchillos y funciona bien. No es para profesionales pero por el precio obtienes una excelente relación precio-calidad.
