I bought this item after being disappointed by a similar set of X-acto knives.The Good:- Low price- The handles hold on to the blades better than X-acto knives- It's much easier to tighten them down- The Excel blades seem to be a bit sharper than X-acto blades- Safety caps and assorted blades included.- Made in the USA.The Bad:- They will roll around on a flat surface if you leave the caps off- The grip isn't great- Safety cap design is poor; if you hold it wrong you can cut yourself removing the cap- I felt really stupid after cutting myself removing a safety capI'm docking a full star for the dangerous safety caps, and another for the rolling & grips. I've only had this set a few days, so I can't comment on durability.For the price (currently $9.55), I like these knives enough that I'm buying a second set.
