I understand acrylics are always going to look different. I know its all about how much, and how you swirl the pigment to produce the end product. But, there is way more blue in the photo that sells this product than in the finished product. Thus, in my opinion, this photo doesn't represent the end product. I chose not to send back, because I can add this as an inlay in knife handles. The white and cadmium blue look good against stainless, so no harm done, but I was planning to use these differently. I just wanted you to know. If I knew how to add a photo I would do it to illustrate the difference. It is vast.This is only a thin layer of color on a solid black backer, so unless you're planning on sanding a small portion or a very thin layer, it will be a solid black handle lolWas not impressed with product and ended up returning. They arrived damaged-both scratched up and one piece had a crack through the center. Would not order againDo not buy! The design is only a 1mm top layer, as the back is junk plastic. Not usable as a knife scale. I will never buy these again!It is a thin layer of color with a black back. Would not buy.The pattern is just a thin veneer on the top, it does not go through, and is just black plastic underneath that is too soft to sand or polish. Useless as knife handle material.The scales are more of a yellow than a green. Not worried enough to return them but was disappointed in the color.I was pleasantly surprised when getting these they look great
