Because whenever I want to cut a piece of paper or open a package I can never find scissors or a box cutter. So if I have 24 of these I should never have a problem with getting up from my easy chair to look for a sharp object to open my latest Amazon package. Makes sense, doesn't it? Of course. Only reality doesn't work that way. I still can't find one on the end table near me. I'm beginning to think that there may not be gremlins who exist to thwart and torment me. Maybe it's my own fault for not returning things where they belong.Regardless, these are nice, sharp, brightly colored handy tools to have around. There are 24 of them and they're quite cheap.At the price I paid for these 24 razor knives I didn't really expect very high quality products. I was wrong. The knives are good quality and the thing that really surprised me was that the knives have a safety catch that prevents the blade from slipping forward or backwards, it locks the blade in place. Great product, great price. If you buy em, you'll like em.Just got them today, so far these box cutters are of good to great quality for the price. Solid feel and smooth-ish actuation with a reliable lock. The blade is a little loose inside the casing but that was expected from a box cutter, it should have no problem with blade flex or tilt. I bought the 96 pack, so I'm unsure when I'd need any more, I will buy from again when I do.I think the plastic is ABS, which makes for very rich colors but could fade slightly with elongated exposure to UV radiation.None of the blades came with rust, a problem I've had before with high-carbon blades in the mail, so this exceeded my expectations once again.Everything what was expected
