I have purchased other "named" brands with similar pricing, but this one is hands down the best. I have small hands along with my wife. The knife's weight and handle construction "contour" was perfect in our hands. The weight made slicing effortless and the blade is SHARP. We both like the knife so much that we will be purchasing a second one!I decided to replace all the knives in my kitchen. After lots of research and review reading, I picked this. The Linoroso Paring Knife 3.5 is a dream. It's light but not flimsy. Has a good feel in my hand and is super sharp.After using my old knives, I needed to retrain myself to use a good knife. This is one of the best purchases I've ever made from Amazon.The knife is well balanced and shaped, made from a 400 series stainless so it should hold an edge. except for the metallurgy, this is superior to my 53 dollar shun paring knife whose similar handle destroyed itself after ten years.Honestly it only takes about 30 seconds to sharpen a knife so thie slightly softer metal Rc65 vs Rc70 is not a big deal anyway.The sole issue is the handle. The configuration of the plastic laminated wood handle is that the curvature allows for stress build up during heat cool cycles so this should not go into a dish washer. Use cold water to clean and it should last a very long time. IF IT WERE unfinished hard wood like the walnut on my Mothers (now mine ) bread knife, and utility knife the handles will last well these were bought in 1952 and 1928.Viciously sharp and ergonomic to handle, highly recommend. Easy to clean too with sponge. I recommend, wash and dry after use, you do not want to leave these in the drainer and stab yourself later after personnel experience. Love the knife!I was a little worried that I’d have to sharpen it out of the box but that isn’t an issue. I know from first hand experience (I accidentally sliced my hand open) great productI read reviews before buying and many said the knife wasn't sharp. That doesn't appear to be true. Also handle cracks. Well it will if you stick it in the dishwasher, but if you hand wash it as you should then it probably won't. I'm happy with this knife. It's a good buy at this price.The knife is nice, sharp and feel sturdy. Just a bit bigger than expected but very happy with it so far. I use it for prepping veg every day and haven't found any issues with it yet. The handle isn't made out of wood but more of a good plastic. It's not too heavy and easy to hold making things a lot quicker.Lovely knife,very sharp ,good to hold and use. Cant fault it but would be a better addition to the kitchen if it had a leather sheath. The main use will be de-veiningprawns but will certainly get puttogood use in the fruit season.I personally always go for quality over quantity and quality is what you get with this perfect little knife for small tasks in the kitchen.
