Its suppose to help cut meat etc when you have a weak or arthritic hand. The grip was exactly like a regular knife and worse the blade was dull so completely ineffective.Bought it for my 87 year old aunt. She said the handle is great but the blade is not sharp and that it didn't cut raw meat.Great for cutting meatgreat for someone with grasping problems. the knife broke when i tried to bend it but the company replaced with almost no effort on my part. the spoon and fork bent without issue.when you put your hand on this you wonder why you didn't get them a long time ago.it feels like it was made for tour hand. greatPerfect my need, thank you!I ordered this for my Dad who only has use of his left, non dominant hand. He loves it!thought it was a set; at the price, it does not come clean is dishwasher, not all that sharp. disappointed. Wife has severe RA and was looking forward to using it - not helping her at all
