I have been using the knife for installing drop ceiling bought the expensive black steel blades to go with it they last long and make the job of installing drop ceiling to much faster and look a lot betterI bought this to cut EVA foam for some cosplay projects that I was doing. It's not nearly sharp enough to cut cleanly through the stuff without making severely ragged edges. I'm sure it works just fine as a box cutter though.If you plan to use it in the same capcity as me, might I recommend instead something with a titatnium blade like a Kobalt (what I use now). These also have double sided (trapezoid) blades that are relatively cheap to replace and have many other blade shapes to choose from.Good tool for cutting ceiling tiles. It made a tedious job a little easier.I really like how you can lock the blade at different depths of cutting, and the blade won't slip out.Even with a brand-new blade, the ceiling tiles can still crumble at the corners - needs the right technique. Slow down and use a sawing-action to get smooth corners. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.Use it for cutting and edging 2x4 layin ceiling tiles.Good productCuts great, not sure how helpful the guide is however. It has a .25 inch offset. Olfa non delude mai.I’ve always had good experience with OLFA knives. I used this particular tool for custom shadow line cuts in acoustic ceiling tiles. It worked perfectly.Worked perfect for cutting the ceiling tiles so they dropped properly..????Very sharp! Blade is easy to change. Easy to operate with just one hand.
