The ZT and Kershaw knife cases sold by Amazon and elsewhere are the same.I knew this before I bought this case. I have a collection of ZT knives and just wanted this bag even though it costs a few dollars more than the Kershaw bag. No reason for it to cost more except that it has the ZT logo on it; like buying something w/a BMW or MB logo on it. It always costs more simply because of the logo. But, if you have ZT knives and want to use a bag w/the ZT logo on it, this is the only choice (that I know of) available.As for the bag itself, it is well constructed and made of heavy duty cordura nylon material, both inside and out. The 10 exterior slots (5 on each side) are large enough for the 4" folders sold by KAI under the ZT marque BUT you can forget about putting more than 4 large folders in the 8 slot center pouch because there's no way to get them to fit in the 4 slots on each side back to back. The best you could do would be 4 large folders on one side, but the slots may be too narrow even to do that.I didn't even bother trying to do that. I am only using the 10 exterior slots for my ZT knives and removed the center 8 slot holder (which is attached w/velcro) and put it in one of my 2 Kershaw bags to increase the capacity of that bag to 26 knives.I have far more Kershaw than ZT knives, given the 1:5 to 1:10 ratio difference in the price of ZT to Kershaw knives. So, I need for more capacity for my Kershaws than ZTs and this is a way to get it w/o buying yet another Kershaw bag. Chances also are that my ZT collection will increase beyond 10 and that I will need another ZT bag and can remove the center knife holder from that bag and put it in my other Kershaw bag as well. Keep this in mind if you collect both brands of knives.ZT had a great opportunity to hit it out of the park with this as Maxpedition has discontinued the only good multi-knife carrying case I have found to date but unfortunately they fell well short of the mark. It supposedly has spaces for 18 knives but in reality it only holds 10 normal size folders. 5 on each side. There is also a holder in the middle that supposedly holds an additional 8 knives but doesn't in reality unless they are super tiny Swiss army knives or old fashioned slip joints. No ZT I own will even fit into these slots. None of the slots have the fleece padding a good quality knife case should have either so your expensive customs will be dragging across nylon instead and possibly get marks from this. I do have a few very thin tiny gentleman's folders that will fit only on one side (think small Sebenza or Paramilitay 2) but this stretches the pockets so badly there isn't enough room on the back side of those pockets to fit anything but tooth pics so the can't be counted as holding knives at all which makes for a total of 10 normal and four *very* small knives.On the plus side, ZT was thoughtful enough to make these middle pockets attach with a velcro strip so they can be removed entirely if needed and a few individual knife case can fit in there with the center removed. The quality of construction is quite good and the price is excellent othwerwise it would be a three star item.I first bought this item for our knives to place our nicer knives in as protection and to have them handy and easily attainable. Bag is very sturdily made and looks like it'll hold up over the long haul. I didn't notice in the description (then again I may have completely overlooked the two line product description on the items page) that the middle piece is actually attached by velcro and removable. I'm on the fence about that - as I don't foresee me needing to take that piece out.Saying that, I have inherited it for my knives as my husband did one of those heavy, sad sighs and was like "But I don't know what knife I want to take with me each day so I like to LOOK at them and decide on a day-to-day basis and that bag won't work." GRRRRR Soo... I picked up another one and just got it last week so after we've had it for a couple months (like this one) I'll be leaving a review for it. (By the way it's the Spyderco This storage bag provided a decent storage option while taking up minimal space. It appears to be quite sturdy, and serves its purpose well.This bag was purchased to store my knife finds which I purchase at times without a box. I've been amassing quite a few finds at antique markets and this case really fits the bill. It is well made; strong and sturdy material, and has heavy duty hardware. The case has 18 pockets which I'm pretty sure will fill very quickly... If you are in the market for a good storage case then look no further! This ZT case will do the job!I have 3 of these bags 2 are full and the third I’m trying to think of what to do. I have a fairly big collection of knives I keep many in their original box so I give them no use. So when I sell them they are still brand new in the box. Each bag hold 18 knives depending on their size.A very good carrying case for 16 or 18 folding pocket knives. Protects your your knives from getting scratched, etc.If your knives are small or large they fit. Only thing is you can't see the knife in each pouch so you need to remember which is which.Bag is well-constructed. I have the main compartments filled with 12 folders...6 per side. I have a few smaller folders in the center sleeve. You would not be able to load up the center sleeve with full-sized knives...no way I'm going to have a >$400 Reate banging into another in the sleeve. However, the pouches are offset, so smaller/lighter folder do OK. Overall, I like this case and don't know if a better alternative.Für den Messerfan gibt es nichts besseres. Um so größer war meine Freude, diese auf Seite 3 der Suche zu finden. Die erste Tasche für mehr als ein Messer. Die Tasche ist aus Nylon. Die beiden Seitenfächer sind für jeweils 5 Messer und die inneren für jeweils 4. Für den normalen Messerverbraucher also ausreichend Platz. Im Notfall halt noch eine Bestellen. Finde keine negativen Aspekte. Die Messer sind gut gegen Außeneinwirkungen geschützt, die Tasche ist kompakt und gut verarbeitet. Was soll ich noch sagen?The bag is well built. Very well constructed. However it's a tight fit when filling it with knives... Unless they are thin, you'll have some issues squeezing 18 into this bag. Especially the middle flap- they could have made the pockets a little less tight and this would easily be a 5 star purchase.Ottimo Prodotto!Ottimo Materiale.
