I had to go to the hardware store to but nuts that actually fit the product. Other than that it arrived on time and works fine.Like the sturdy build of this product. This particular item didn’t come with a factory sharpened edge as expected.I'm a novice woodworker so I've not had much experience with draw knives but it's a delight to use. When it came, the edge was covered in a protective coating that had to be removed and it needed to be sharpened so I would advise to make sure that you have a good set of whetstones before getting this.Other than that, it holds an edge well, cuts clean and like I said, is pretty mesmerizing to use.Product is advertised as having a “sharp” blade. Mine arrived with no edge at all, had to sharpen it myself.Outside of that, it is pretty sturdy. But again, if you need it to arrive sharp, your out of luck.My husband made me natural curtain rods from some of the cedar trees on our property. Love them!Not designed with a sharp blade, really only good for simple scraping of bark if you are wood turning logsMy boyfriend broke his grandfather saw of this kind while building a bench with smaller tree branches. So, he picked this one and is happy with it, as it “does the job”.Quality product and made with excellent material. Blade works perfect.
