Description

The SKIF Shark II knife belongs to the new generation of one of the most beautiful models of the 400th series. The knife stands out from other models with its pronounced aggressive design. The original form of a multifunctional blade, an emphasis on the thumb, a convenient flipper that smoothly passes into the subdigital notch is a business card of the Shark model. Shark II became even more “teeth” — the new 9Cr18MoV steel with a large amount of carbon andchromium became harder and more resistant to corrosion than its 8Cr13MoV predecessor. The shape of the blade is a popular Wharnkliffe, so the knife has excellent cutting qualities. Direct descents start at 1/3 of the butt. Stonewash blade processing will protect the knife from minor scratches or scuffs that periodically occur with frequent use. The knife opens with a flipper in the form of a shark fin, creating a kind of palm rest, which is useful during a puncture. Flipper handling is slightly modified, making opening much easier than its predecessor. Ball bearing system contributes to faster blade exit. The lock is an invariable Frame-Lock, by the way — one of the most reliable locks among folding knives. A distinctive feature of the new generation of these knives is the presence of a sub-finger notch not only on the butt and handle, but also on the flipper and lock plate. The handle is made of material G10, perfectly lies even in a wet hand or gloves. There is a clip which, if necessary, can be removed and used with a lanyard, under which a hole is provided. In general, the new generation of the Shark knife provides a fresh look at the time-tested classic.
