This is a fantastic, top quality knife with a razor's edge. It's the perfect size that I've been lacking in my set. I will follow up after using it over time.I love Wustof knives, and got this won to replace my serrated knife that was lost in a move. It works great for slicing homemade bread and tomatoes, and is very sharp. When you really don’t need the huge bread knife, this is the best. Perfect for slicing tomatoes. Super sharp!I love this knife. I bought it to replace same knife that fell into my wood floor, tip first, into the wood, standing straight up. The tip bent when I pulled it up..but I had that knife 10+ years & it was a fantastic knife. I’m hoping this knife will be as good as the first.Perfect for slicing bagels or muffins when glamping. This brand is terrific. I have small hands so the size is perfect for me. Cuts great, nice and sharp.Kinda flimsy for Wusthof, get what U pay for.Upgrade to forged?I bought 2 knives, one W for $35 and the other is Victorinox for $10. Victorinox got delivered first and Iwas surprised how smoothly it slices and glides through the food. A day later, I got W knife and after reading so much about it, I was very excited to try. Unfortunately, it’s made of poor quality and doesn’t slice neatly and sharply. I was so surprised how a $35 highly reputed brand fail so badly. I sent an email to the company and Mr. Zarnoch replied that Gourmet knives are stamped and not forged so I should expect a drastic difference. He can’t compensate and expect me to appreciate their overly priced knife but luckily I can return through Amazon and get 3 Victorinox for the same price and still save $5. Definitely I do not recommend. Genau richtig .Schneidet hervorragent.
