I selected this knife holder above all others because of its color and length, and so far it's great! It was very easy to mount, and the adhesive is strong. I set a small level on top as I was sticking it to my wall to make sure I got it straight - I don't imagine that adhesive would allow for any do-overs! The magnet is powerful, and my knives feel very secure (a concern with a toddler roaming around). Great purchase!Liked it so much I bought a second one for my measuring cups. However, my wife said the black looks better and I agree. Overall, great product!We wanted this to install in our RV but the adhesive would not stick to the wood paneling in the kitchen. We ended up drilling two small holes on either end and attaching it that way. Once it was up it works as intended and looks nice.Everything is perfect. Only issue I've noticed this for is the finish tends to catch scratches easy, but definitely worth the money spent.Looks good. Sticks well. Holds metal items securely. I am using this in my Campervan. It stuck well on first try and has stayed adhered during hot and cold weather. Magnet is strong enough to keep metal items in place during travel. I would buy this product again.Adhesive stuck well to my marble backsplash. I put it up, let it sit for a couple days before putting the knives on.
