I must have gotten the last one they made on the Friday before the long weekend. The handle has no finish on it, there’s obvious tearout on the edges of the bolt holes, and the cutting edge was very poorly ground. I’m going to have to spend a good amount of time fixing it and sharpening it. The knife does feel good in the hand and for the dozen or so times a year I’ll need to open an abscess, it will be adequate. Once I put some finish on the handle and sharpen it properly.
