The Name "Hen & Rooster" use to mean "German Made, Top Of The Line Quality", Which I thought I was buying when I purchased this set of Knifes, Well it seems Hen & Rooster went out of business, and the name was bought by Frost Cutlery, which is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Frost Cutlery specializes in importing Cheap Chinese Made Knifes, that you can often see at Flea Markets and being sold on Late Night TV where you can buy 100 Knifes for $75.00.Now getting back to these knifes, like I said when I open the package and noticed the "Made In China" stamp on them I was very disappointed, but I decided to keep them anyways because they did look like very well made knifes, But with in a Month of use I notices that the Stainless Steel finish (On All The Knifes) was starting to develop Rust Spots on both sides of the blades, then on day I pulled out of my Knife Block to cut a Steak, and the handle came apart in my hand, I then look at the other three knifes and noticed that there were Hair Line Cracks on every one of them where the Rivets are located, and when I pick them up and Gently Pushed on the Handles they literally broke away from the Metal Handles.Calls to Frost Cutlery to file a Claim was met with these Words, The Handles Are Not Guaranteed, So Please heed my Warning Do Not Waste your Hard Earned Money on these Scrap knifes.And by the way, I NEVER place my Knifes in the Dish Washer, I always wash them by hand and dry them and put them away.
